Learn More About A Better Business
I had been working in the complaints business for just too long, and I was sick of it. I had become that ticked off guy at the complaints desk, and that was someone I have never wanted to be. I knew that I had to go into a better business or suffocate in my current job. It was just too much to handle. I wanted to make money online – I have heard that that was the way to do things. Supposedly, online business was the wave of the future.
There were several online business franchises being offered, but when I looked them up in the Better Business Bureau, I was greatly disappointed. Apparently, almost all of the so-called better businesses on the Internet were, in fact, companies that were guilty of scamming people out of their hard-earned money. They would promise to make you rich virtually overnight, and then would take your money and run. In general, they would do it in a way that was technically legal, so they would be hard to catch. I knew that I had to find a better business model than this.
If working in a complaint business had taught me anything, it was how to deal with difficult, annoying people. I figure that being a sales representative would be a better bussiness for me. I would not have to continually fend off angry customers, and I could put my charm to work for me. Working the complaints business, you never get anything but grief. If you did a good job, the only reward you got was to not be shouted at. I knew that I could find a better business than this, but that online business was clearly not the way to do it.
I talked to a business coach, and he confirmed my suspicions. He told me that I would be an excellent salesman. He said that I had all the charisma, charm, and style to do better business than almost anyone else in the area. And all I paid for that professional, life-changing advice was four hundred dollars!
Now I am working in one of the better businesses in Oregon. This Oregon business specializes in selling high-tech products to private consumers. Although I do not love my job so far, I have to say that my paycheck is phenomenal compared to my last job. If I haven't found the best business, I certainly have found a better business.
